The lightweight aluminium air shafts is the right choice for most standard applications. It is designed for medium web tension and medium coil weight. Due to the aluminium profile design, the air shaft is extremely light and relieves the machine operator during frequent roll changes. The pneumatic clamping shaft expands by a flat hose system. The continuous clamping bars are very protective to the cores and allow even a winding of multiple cores.
